Placement Report 2020: SCMS has a track record of providing placements to all the eligible students, ever since it was started in 1992. In the academic year 2018 - 20, 50 major corporate houses hired from the campus.
The 2020 placement season at SCMS Cochin School of Business got off to a strong start and ended with astounding energy,in spite of the selection process being virtual due to COVID-19. Average compensation, maximum salary, number of recruiters and profile of recruiters showed healthy trends in 2020. A total of 50 companies across Manufacturing / IT / Banking / FMCG / Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare / Travel & Tourism / Consulting & Analytics / Retail / Hospitality & E-Commerce made offers to students, covering about 89% of the eligible batch.
The average CTC based on packages offered so far is Rs. 7 lakhs p.a. with the highest offer being Rs. 12.5 lakhs p.a. Some of the leading companies out of the 50 that have recruited are Deloitte, Asian Paints, Federal Bank, Berger Paints, Al Sanea Chemical products, Kuwait, I.T.C Ltd, KPMG, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd., Safari Industries (India) Ltd, Coffee Day Beverages, TCS (IT), Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing Company ltd., C.C.S Technologies, GIC Housing Finance Ltd, Landmark group, Hindustan Unilever, Indigo Paints, Saint Gobain India Private Limited, Vodafone Idea, to name a few.
