About

Dr. Bijith George Abraham is Assistant Professor and Research (In Charge) at SCMS. Dr. Bijith earned his PhD in Economics from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala. He was awarded Masters in Business Economics (MBE) from CUSAT with 1st Rank. Prior to joining SCMS Cochin School of Business, he served as Assistant Professor at the Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP), CUSAT and Assistant Professor at DCSMAT, Vagamon. He also worked in various research positions in CUSAT. He has a total of 10 years of work experience which includes 2 years of teaching and 8 years of research. He served noticeable role in identifying new research options, project undertaking, empirical data analysis and research reporting. He was also associated with various national/international research institutions for collaborative research projects. He has more than 28 research publications to his credit and has expertise in mixed method research using statistical packages.
